"The biggest risk is not taking one.."

For decades, I worked inside large corporations. The rhythm was familiar: structure, deadlines, goals, and constant forward motion. It served me, it shaped me, gave me expertise, and offered experiences I’ll always value. But 2.5 years ago, I decided to take the biggest risk of my professional life: stepping out on my own.
It was both terrifying and exhilarating. And now, looking back, I can say it’s been the most rewarding decision I’ve made—not just for my career, but for my life.
Entrepreneurship taught me something no corporate ladder could: there is no age or tenure limit on growth. If you stay curious, keep developing skills, and hold onto the expertise you’ve built, the work world won’t pass you by. Instead, you’ll discover new ways to make it richer and more meaningful.
This chapter has given me more than new clients and new work. It has given me the gift of presence. I’ve been able to show up fully in life’s biggest moments including most recently walking my daughter down the aisle. That day reminded me why I chose this path: to live, not just to work.
No regrets. Just gratitude and encouragement for anyone wondering if it’s too late to grow, to pivot, to begin again. It’s not. Your Chapter Two is waiting.
